OBITUARY
Bernard Otha Small Sr, the youngest of three sons, was born on February 29, 1956, at Harlem Hospital to Alice and Edward Small. From a young age, he developed a passion for playing the trumpet, which he pursued relentlessly. Growing up in the Millbrook community, he formed many friendships and cherished memories.
Throughout his career, Bernard held various positions, including working for the Housing Authority and the Metro Transit Authority. However, his true calling lay in ministry. He dedicated his life to serving others, ministering to anyone who would listen. Ordained by Apostle William Brown of Salvation and Deliverance, he tirelessly worked to bring people to the Lord.
Bernard was a family-oriented man, taking care of his own three children and those through marriage. Despite facing challenges in life, he always found a way to bring joy and positivity to those around him. His presence touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed.
Bernard Otha Small Sr is proceeded in death by his mother, Alice Small, and two brothers, Lawrence Jackson and Leslie Small. He is survived by his children, Benjamin, Bryant and Bernard Small, and their grandchildren, Antonio Bice, Noah Kouba, Joy Small, and Tayana Small. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
We love you, Bernard, and we miss you dearly.
