The beautiful Dania Marie Haile-Hobbs was born in Mount Vernon, NY on February 2, 1964, to Veronica Haile Chaplin and Roland Arthur Waters. Peacefully and surrounded by her family, she passed away on April 1, 2023 in New Jersey.  

Dania was raised and educated in Westchester Public Schools. She went to Mount Vernon High School and shortly after began her college career at Monroe Business Institute. Following college, she met and married her husband Reginald Hobbs and then went on to have their two beautiful children Reginald and Daniya Hobbs. She later attended the School for Medical and Dental Assistance.

After receiving her certification to be a Medical Assistant, Dania and her family moved to Mount Laurel, NJ where she worked at TD Bank formerly known as Commerce Bank for 12 years. At the end of her time at TD Bank she decided to refocus on her passion in the medical field and began working for Virtua Health as a navigator. During Dania’s tenure at Virtua Health she also worked for Home Depot and Arbor Terrace Retirement Home. Dania was a very hardworking and dedicated woman.

Dania was loved by many and was very loyal and loving to her family. She was an amazing mother and wife and her children and husband were everything to her. She leaves to mourn her husband Reginald Hobbs and survived by her son Reginald Dennis Hobbs, and her daughter Daniya Shiree Hobbs; 3 sisters: Belinda Miller, Melissa Chaplin Lee (Eddie Lee), Barbara Chaplin Diggs, and a brother Roland Bell (Charese Bell). She had 13 nieces and nephews, 4 Great nieces and nephews, 2 aunts Charlene Fleming, and Azilda Sauls (Eddie Sauls); 6 in laws and her Parents in Law Dixie and Dennis Hobbs and a host of Family and Friends. She was predeceased by her Parents and 2 Aunts and 1 Uncle. Her life was full of beauty, love, and laughter and will continue to be celebrated.   Rest in Heaven
