THE EVENING OF FRIDAY MARCH 7 2025 THE LORD CALLED OUR BELOVED FATHER, GRAND FATHER, BROTHER, UNCLE, COUSIN, FRIEND MR. DONALD E MASON HOME TO GLORY AT THE AGE 83.
Mr. Donald E Mason was born March 15, 1941, in Emporia, VA, to the late Ernest Mason and Emma Lou Mason. Mr.Mason has 8 siblings Charlie Mason, Mary Mason, Ernest Mason, Jacqueline Burch, Thomas Byrdson, Otelia Bryant, Ethel Jones, and James Byrdson JR.
Mr . Mason completed All 12 years of school in Emporia, Virginia. He also went to college for a few years. Later, he served in the Vietnam War as a Sharpshooter (1967-1969). He later on started a career as a construction worker, and he retired. While in New York, years later, he met The love of his life, Joyce Recard.
Mr. Mason was always caring, kind, and loving. Mr. Mason Believed in Working hard and taking care of his family. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones and sharing about his life experiences. His life was Truly a testament of Love and reverence for the Lord. He leaves such a great legacy and example of great zeal for life, strength, kindness, family, purpose, and love.
In addition to his surviving 8 kids, Mr. Mason also leaves to cherish his memories 32 nieces and nephews, 9 grand children and 3 great grandchildren.
