Elisia Jones Obituary

Elisia Elizabeth Champagne Jones, better known by many as “Missy”, was born in the Bronx, NY on June 1, 1978 to Craig “Frank Nitty” Fernell and her late mother Laura Rochelle Jones. The early morning of February 2, 2023 Missy was called to rest.
Elisia was preceded in death by her mother Laura Jones and brother Anthony Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory, her father; Craig Fernell, five children; Drake, Dream, Malik, Gift, and Jonathan, four brothers; Deire, EliJah, Master, and Born, three sisters; Sudha, Missika, and Anastacia, two uncles; Uncle Justice, Uncle Understanding, and her Aunt Tonya. As well as a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, friends and loved ones.
Her entire life one thing everybody knew about Missy, she loved and cherished her mother. You couldn’t get Missy without Laura, and you couldn’t Laura without Missy. They were best friends, partners in crime, inseparable. Missy always said there was nowhere Laura went she couldn’t find. Following her mother, she was inclined to studying and practicing the teachings of the Nation Of Gods and Earths.
Missy was known to be tough and independent, surviving the streets of the Bronx from a young age. She was smart and funny. Always enjoyed a good laugh and was never scared to try something new. Missy was all about family, what she could do to be better for her family. She was at peace knowing all her siblings knew each other. Missy loved her family and those whom she considered family. If it was in her power, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for the ones she loved.
