Exzulene Jean
December 17, 1953 - January 6, 2025
Exzulene Jean peacefully passed in Northern Manhattan from ALS at 71 years of age. Exzulene, known mostly as Ms. Jean will now join her husband, Ducange in paradise leaving their four sons, Abel, Mackendy, Michel and Gregory Baptiste. Born in Haiti, Ms. Jean lived a peaceful life in West Harlem. Ms. Jean worked in hospitality and continuously brought smiles to people’s faces during every interaction. Ms. Jean enjoyed cooking, Haitian cuisine in particular and often shared her delicious cooking in abundance with family, friends and neighbors. Ms. Jean was an active member of the Haitian Evangelical Missionary Church and never missed a day of worship until her health prevented her from participating. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. She will be missed dearly by everyone she’s had the pleasure of meeting. May she now rest in peace eternal.
