Mary Alicia Pidhirny

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Alicia Pidhirny announces her passing on August 18,
2024, at the age of 37.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son Anthony, her longtime partner Steven Tonnini and her
siblings James O’Dom, Corey Walters, Steven Walters, Alicia Rojas and Helen Scroggins.
Mary was a caring person who loved to talk to everyone. Her carefree spirit and infectious laugh will
always be remembered. Her smile was as bright as the sun and uplifted everyone she knew. Mary
aspired to be a cosmetologist and her love of animals and the outdoors lead her to dog walking. Her
love of Barbie, Minnie Mouse and the color pink was known to all that knew her.
Her giving nature and passionate presence were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She
was loved by her family and friends, will always be remembered, and will be missed dearly.
The funeral services will be held at First Avenue Funeral Services, 349 East 116 th Street, New York, NY
10029 on Friday, August 30th from 2-6pm. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, a collection
will be made for Anthony’s future.
