Rene Garcia

Rene P. Garcia of Manhattan, NYC passed away on December 2, 2023.  He was 37 years old.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 3pm to 7pm.  Cremation will be private.

Rene was born on on March 29, 1986 in Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, New York, to Ileana (Ramos) and Rene M. Garcia.  He spent his early years in Corona, Queens before moving to Florida for a few years where he was in Brandon Senior High School's Class of 2002.  He then lived in the Bronx and finally in Manhattan. He was employed by the MTA followed by various employers.  Like his family, he was talented and artistically gifted and invested lots of love and time into his passion of Hip-Hop music producing and recording for and with local Bronx Hip-Hop and R&B artists; watching movies and music videos.

His family & friends say he will be terribly missed and is remembered for his beautiful smile, a trusting and noble personality, happy-go-lucky, a great friend, a loving father, son, brother, cousin and friend.  Most of all, he loved his children Xavier and Stella very much.

Rene joins his grandmother Elizabeth, grandfather Rene, and Titis Helen & Linda in God's warm embrace and is forever present in the hearts of his parents; wife Karin, children Xavier and Stella, his siblings Ivy and Ann, his stepmother Annie and family, his grandmother Victoria, his Titis Millie, Madeline, Victoria & Sylvia, Tios Angel & Jose, nieces Kayla, Isabella and Sally, a nephew Frank, and many cousins including Dawud, Carol, Xakiela, Amina, Amalik, Nelson, Sam, Angelo, Mikey, Lisa, Brandon, Aubrey, Cassandra, Jasmine, Marivi, Gini, Hazel, Belinda, Anthony, Carolina and Karen.  We all will always have you in our hearts and we'll love you forever.
